1. Heroes
What is Truth? The Bible is full of amazing Heroes whose stories help us understand and live a life of truth. This Presentation encourages us to discover those heroes and their story, challenging us to see how these stories teach us life truths.
2. Perspective
Life can be hard to navigate. There can be obstacles to overcome and problems to deal with. A puzzle can be frustrating and it can be exciting. How do we approach the problems of life? Sometimes we are so close the problem we can’t see the big picture. This presentation challenges us to discover God and his purpose for our life. Have we been sitting in the same place for too long? Maybe we need to move to a new mountaintop to see life from a new vantage point and discover a new way of seeing the world and a new way of understanding God.
3. Social Justice
We all want to leave our mark in this world but many people are just not sure what or how to be world changers. The catch cry of the crusaders was – Deus Vult – ‘God wills it’, ‘I am willing’. Leaders and leadership comes from a willingness to make a difference – in the lives of others and to be the best we can be. This presentation challenges us that we can make a difference, if we want to.
4. Social Networks
Online social networks are part of today’s culture. Yet they can also be confusing and hard to navigate. ‘Friends’ are not always friends in the true sense of the word. So what is a friend? How do we sort through the online world of social interaction? How do we understand faith, culture and relationships in real life paralleled with our online presence? It looks at technology and how it is impacting our world and how we communicate. This presentation challenges us that real friends tell friends everything, especially the important stuff.
5. Peer Relationships
Nobody wants to be bullied or the target of gossip. Peer relationships are part of life but for some people can often be a real struggle. This Presentation investigates these issues and offers some specific ways to deal with bullying, peer pressure and gossip.
6. Self Image
Love is a word that often gets used to mean something that it isn’t. We are confronted by images of beauty and ‘the perfect look’. In this presentation we investigate God’s purpose for for our lives, self image and the impact of peer relationships on our lives.
7. The Bible
What is the Bible? Even though the Bible is the highest selling book, statistics indicate that most people don’t actually read it and don’t know what it’s about. This presentation challenges people to read their Bible more, get to know what they believe and why they believe it.
8. Easter
Jesus death and resurrection – Easter. The joy of the resurrection is found an empty hole, an empty tomb. Like an opened gift. This presentation rejoices in the message of Easter and the realisation of the gift of life free to all through Jesus and the miracle of the resurrection.
9. Christmas
This humorous presentation challenges us to discover the truth of Christmas that is often lost in the trimmings and advertising of the Christmas season. It challenges us to focus on more important things of Christmas – giving and family.
10. Family
We live in an imperfect world where parents are absent emotionally, spiritually and physically. How do we make sense of this and what light can the Bible shed on God as a loving Father.
